The first of our joint performances was held at St John’s Anglican Church in Taree to a packed house with every available seat taken. The concert commenced with a bracket of songs from Kantabile, the local Taree choir, and was followed by the Choristers’ Cantorus Choir (SATB) who set a very high standard in the wonderful acoustic of this venue. After the interval, the Cincinnati Boychoir performed with a range of musical styles which delighted the audience. Their choir had an age range of between 12 to 18yrs, and they sang 4 part SATB arrangements.
The second concert was held in the Glasshouse in Port Macquarie on the following day. Once again the choirs delighted the audience in spite of the dry acoustic in this venue. This time, the Hastings Choristers’ female ensemble – Cantabile - opened the concert with a fine performance, with the remaining items being the same as the previous day in Taree.
